교정학 최신 흐름을 광주에서!

대한치과교정학회(회장:김태우)가 오는 10월 29일(목)~31일(토) 광주광역시 김대중컨벤션센터에서 제48회 학술대회를 개최한다.

‘Today's Question, Tomorrow's Idea: Advancing the Scope of Orthodontics’를 주제로 열리는 이번 학술대회에는 여러 해외연자들이 참석한다.

먼저 30일 ‘Perspectives on interdisciplinary orthodontic treatment’라는 주제를 중심으로 노르웨이 오슬로 대학에서 온 해외연자들이 발표에 나선다.

Lisen Espeland (University of Oslo, Norway) 교수가 ‘Orthodontics and orthognathic surgery-perspectives on outcomes and stability’에 대해, Arild Stenvik(University of Oslo, Norway) 교수가 ‘Prosthodontics as an adjunct to orthodontics and surgery’에 대해, Kari Birkeland(University of Oslo, Norway) 교수가 ‘Orthodontic perspectives on severe dental traumas’에 대해, 그리고 Vaska Vandevska-Radunovic 교수가 ‘Tooth transplantation and orthodontics’에 대해 강연한다.
특별연제로 진행되는 이날 오후에는 Roberto Justus(World Federation of Orthodontists) 회장이 ‘Deproteinization of tooth enamel surfaces to prevent white spot lesions and bracket bond failures: A revolution in orthodontic bonding’에 대해, Zhihe Zhao (Sichuan University) 교수가 ‘The latest progress of microscrew anchorage’에 대해, Yanheng Zhou(Peking University School of Stomatology) 교수가 ‘Dose invisalign work in extraction cases?’에 대해, 그리고 Yuxing Bai(West China University of Medical Sciences) 교수가 ‘Autotransplantation application in orthodontic treatment and its stability’에 대해 발표한다.

학술대회 마지막 날인 31일에는 Dieter Drescher(University of Duesseldorf) 교수가 ‘Hybrid-Hyrax, Alt-RAMEC, Mentoplate: new treatment options for growing Class III patients’에 대한 강연의 연자로 나서며 Junichiro Iida(Hokkaido University) 교수가 ‘Consideration of retention in orthodontic treatment’ 강연으로 Ryu's Lecture Award Presentation 순서를 갖는다.

이어 두 부분으로 나뉜 심포지엄 시간으로 첫번째인 ‘Rapid tooth movement’ 순서에서는 정규림(아주대 임상치의학 대학원) 교수가 ‘Biocreative orthodontic approaches for rapid tooth movement’에 대해, 문원(University of California, Los Angeles) 교수가 ‘Bone trauma and accelerated tooth movement: corticotomy, corticision, piezopuncture, and corticopuncture’에 대해 발표하는 한편 ‘Skeletal anchorage system’ 순서에서는 배성민(배성민 치과의원) 원장이 ‘Limitation of orthodontic treatment with MIA in lip protrusion patients’에 대해, 임중기(압구정 연치과의원) 원장이 ‘Vertical maxillary excess correction using mini implant: its efficacy and stability’에 대해 연자로 나선다.

대한치과의사협회 보수교육 4점, 대한치과교정학회 인정의를 위한 일반보수교육 10점, 우수증례 심사 통과자를 대상으로 대한치과교정학회 인정의를 위한 필수보수교육 5점이 부여되는 이번 학술대회에 대한 문의는 사무국(02-464-9153)으로 하면 된다.
